Tax-Deductible Donations

When you give to Generation Hope, you make a long-lasting impact on Generation Hope Scholars and their children, and ensure that the voices of student parents are heard.

Scholar Wish List

Too many of today’s college students struggle to meet their basic needs, and the young parents we work with are no exception. Our wish list – including items such as grocery cards, school supplies, and children’s books – provides vital support to our Scholars, enabling them to focus their energy on school and their little ones. In-Kind Contributions

If you would like to make an in-kind donation to Generation Hope, please fill out our in-kind donation form and please view our In-Kind Donation Policy for information on which items we are currently able to accept. Please contact inkind@generationhope.org with any questions.

Donate Stock

Generation Hope uses Spur Local to process stock donations. You can see the full instructions and download the instructions from their website. Funds are then disbursed to Generation Hope on a quarterly basis. Please contact our Vice President of Advancement, Jessica Wisser, at jessica@generationhope.org or 202-677-5429 with any questions.

Employer Matching Programs

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage their employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Visit our Matching Giving page to check if your company sponsors a matching gift program and to see if they will match your gift or your volunteer hours to Generation Hope!

Sponsor a Scholar

We are looking for individuals to help Sponsor a scholarship for a Generation Hope Scholar! This direct-giving opportunity allows you to make a tangible difference in the life of a young family. You'll have the opportunity to follow their journey through regular updates. You can provide a contribution of $1,200/year  (for Scholars attending 2-year colleges) or a contribution of $2,400/year (for Scholars attending 4-year colleges). The financial contribution is fully tax deductible and can be contributed annually, bi-annually, or monthly.

If you are not able to sponsor a full scholarship, any amount helps and can go towards a Scholar's tuition. For more information on sponsoring a scholarship, feel free to reach out to our Community Engagement Manager Alejandro Del Pino Caicedo at alejandro@generationhope.org.
