Meet Our 2022 Spring Interns

We’re excited to have a fantastic group of interns supporting Generation Hope’s work this spring. Get to know them below!

Allison Sullivan, Generation Hope's Program Intern

Allison Sullivan
Program Intern

Hi! My name is Allison Sullivan and I am the Program Intern. In the spring I will be graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelors in Rehabilitation Psychology. I am beyond excited to be working with Generation Hope this semester to support scholars and their families navigate the complexities involved in higher education. For years I have worked in public school systems and seen young children fall through the cracks without sufficient support, which is why I am looking forward to ensuring young parents have the tools and resources for their personal and family’s success. In my free time I love to play sports with children with disabilities, cook, exercise, and spend time with friends!

Vikti Mehta, Generation Hope's Recruitment Intern

Vikti Mehta
Recruitment Intern

Hi! My name is Vikti Mehta, and I am the new Recruitment Intern for Generation Hope. I am from a suburb near Dallas, Texas, and I attend college at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). I am currently a junior majoring in Finance with an Investment Management concentration. This semester, I am living in Washington, DC for the Bill Archer Fellowship, a program enabling University of Texas students to learn about public policy and intern in DC. Throughout my college career, I have exercised my passion for equal education and financial support through peer mentoring first-year students and studying the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, I have designed and taught financial literacy lessons to the refugee population in San Antonio. I hope to use my experience and skills to support student parents at Generation Hope and facilitate the recruitment of scholars and mentors in the DC area. Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
