Oliver Judd

Oliver graduated from Loyola University Chicago with degrees in political science and international studies. Having worked in political fundraising and activism for a decade, he joined Generation Hope because he decided it was time to do some of the good work himself instead of electing others to do it. He immediately started working on campaigns in Greater Chicagoland, working for candidates at all levels in various roles. He raised over $3million dollars for federal candidates in the 2016 cycle by exploring previously untapped revenue streams as Finance Director. Oliver spent seven years at Democratic Municipal Officials, where he was Political and Government Affairs Director. There he managed relationships with elected officials, corporations, political parties, and unions; and was a large part of the fundraising apparatus for the organization. Prior to joining Generation Hope, he led business development for a nonpartisan public opinion polling startup.
Oliver uses his diverse background to help Generation Hope grow and expand. He is dedicated to making sure that those who make Generation Hope’s work possible understand the real world impact they are making when they contribute, and would like to remind you that you can be a part of this work by making a contribution today! He lives in the Lamond-Riggs neighborhood of DC with his wife and their dog, Lemon.

This quote reminds me that compassion is something we must make a conscious decision to prioritize. Not only is it something that we can learn, but we must look out for moments where it is appropriate to teach compassion, too.
